Rex DickeyPastor I am a lifelong United Methodist Christian. Raised in eastern Arkansas, I met the love of my life, Cindy Edwards, in Earle, Arkansas. We married after graduating from Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas in 1984, attended seminary at SMU, served two churches on a circuit in the British Methodist Conference for one year, returned to the U.S. and have raised our two children in parsonages across Arkansas. Both are married, and have given us two grandchildren. We have lived in NWA since 2006 and moved to east Fayetteville in 2017. My wife, Cindy, works with the Washington/Madison County Drug Court and has a passion for helping those who are addicted.
After serving 30 years in pulpit ministry in churches of almost every size, I began working at Cobb-Vantress, Inc. in Siloam Springs as a Corporate Chaplain in 2017 and currently relate to almost 1,000 Team Members across 17 facilities in the 4-state area. I began ministry at Goshen UMC in July of 2021. |
